Our Future Classrooms

One major issue for first-year teachers is how to properly set-up their classroom and getting everything they need. We think everyone has issues with this and worries about it at some point. We all agree that technology is a very important element in the classroom. Some of the things we think that are most important in the classroom to provide students with technology are:

-computers

-SMARTBoard

-availability of books to students

-LCD projector

Also, there are many things that aren’t material objects that are necessary in the classroom. Some of these things include:

-a positive attitude in both teacher and students

-a safe environment

-an undisturbed learning environment

These are just some of our beginning ideas for our classroom. Does anyone have any other suggestions that we didn’t mention?
